| 1979: | Jefferick Stocklassa imported "GHETA" und "AKA", a pair of Tosas, from Japan to Sweden. Nearly at the same time the first 2 Tosas comes to Germany. Mr. Prof. Heuser from Aachen buy from Japan the Tosa pair "TARO" and "HANAKO". | |
| 1980: | Frens Kappe of the Netherlands purchased "FUJISHIRO" and "BENIBANA" from a Japanes owner of a restaurant in Amsterdam. | |
| 1981 - 1983: | Between this years Mr. Stocklassa in Sweden from the "KUMAMOTO" kennel bred 19 Tosas out of 3 litters. In the same time Mr. Prof. Heuser from the kennel "BREININGER BERG" bred 3 litters with 23 puppies. How many puppies Mr.Kappe bred in his kennel of "AKKELEI" is totally unknown. | |
| 1983: | After the death from "AKA" Mr.Stocklassa imported the female "HANAH" from Japan. After the male "GHETA", "HAHAH" get a litter with 6 puppies. | |
| 1986: | Because of personal problems Mr.Prof.Heuser stopped his Tosa breeding activities. Wolfgang Fink from Moers in Germany take over 3 Tosas (2 female, 1 male) from Prof.Heuser. He start breeding under the kennelname "HIROSAKI". He has 3 litters with 18 puppies. But unfortunately he stopped then with the Tosa breeding. | |
| 1987: | Family Jessen purchased from Mr.Fink the Tosa female "COHARA", a female from the last litter from Prof.Heuser. | |
| 1991: | "COHARA" is bred to "TAICO BENIBANA OF AKKELEI". She has 8 puppies. Without of the male "AKIHITO OF TAMAHIMEDEN", who belongs to the breeder, is me unfortunately totally unknown what´s happend with the other puppies. | |
| 1996: | The Tosa Society is established in the Molosser Club of the VDH. The aim is to give the German Tosabred new impulse. To this time it could only happen through imports. The Import Society was established to share the risk for each. The Import Society consist of 8 sponsors of the one hand and on the other hand it is the dogowner (Family Jessen). The sponsors has to pay the import. This included the price for the puppy and also the cost for the fly and the cargo for the dog. The dogowner receive the dog at the airport. He has to pay nothing. The import of the Californian Tosa female "DOGSTARS TENSAI" in June to Germany based on this contract. Magnus Malmgren from Sweden, one of the sponsors, bought the female "SAKURAS JERSEY GIRL" in May from Lewis Glogower from New Jersey by himself. Because of the hard importrules in Sweden, the female "SAKURAS JERSEY GIRL" will stay at the first 8 month at first in Germany by Oke Möller und Bärbel Pradel in the kennel of "BOKEL`S INU ZATTO". Nearly in the same time DC Williams from Berlin imported the male "SIR T" from the kennel "FIRE MOUNTAINS" in California. The Tosafriends Cor and Ali van Vugt from the Netherlands purchased in the same year 3 Tosapuppies (2 female, 1 male) from the "SAKURAS KENNEL" in New Jersey. | |
| 1997: | Oke Möller und Bärbel Pradel from the kennel "BOKEL`S INU ZATTO" buy in February during a vacation trip to the USA the 3 month old Tosa female "CHIMBUTSU". On the same trip they take 2 other puppies from USA for friends in Europe with them. One of the puppies belonged to Robert und Mariska in Netherlands from the kennel "MEGASTHENES TOSA INU". The other female is for Magnus in Sweden. Because of the hard quarantine rules his female "SAKURAS YASASCHII" has also to stay the first couples of month by Oke und Bärbel in the their kennel of "BOKEL`S INU ZATTO" Because "DOGSTATRS TENSAI" has unfortunately heavy hip dysplasia, in October the "DOGSTARS YASASCHII" came as a guarantee dog to Germany. In the same month Bernd Leikauf get his Tosa female "YOKOZUNA YOKO KAKEHASHI" from Yoko Okujima as a present. In autumn Robert und Mariska from the Netherland from the kennel "MEGASTHENES TOSA INU" get their female "SAKURAS YANG", because the first Tosa female has had bad hip dysplasia, so that they had to put her down. | |
| 1998: | In the kennel "MEGASTHENES TOSA INU" in the Netherlands they get in June their first litter of 6 puppies from "AKIRA OF THE AKKELEI" after "DOGSTARS YAMATO". The kennel "BOKEL`S INU ZATTO" get in October the 2 years old Tosa female "MISS BUSY" from the "SAKURA KENNEL" in New Jersey. She is the first and only correct female in Germany for the Tosa breeding with papers and good hips certifyed from the German Kennelclub VDH. In November the kennel of "KOKORO NA INU" from Cor and Ali van Vugt in Netherlands get 7 puppies. The parents are "SAKURAS XENA" and "SAKURAS ARAMUSHA". | |
| 1999 | In
April 1999 Heinrich Platte bought his two years old Tosa Female "HONEY"
from "PHYSARD KENNEL" in Canada.
May 1999 two Tosa females and 1 male of 4 month of age were imported direct from Japan to Germany. On the 29.05.99 the kennel "BOKELS INU ZATTO" got their first litter with 13 puppies. The proud parents are "CHIMBUTSU" and "SIR T". The netherlands kennel "MEGASTHENES TOSA INU" got thier second litter with 5 puppies out of their female "AKIRA of the AKKELEI" and the male "DOGSTARS YAMATO". On the 09.08.1999 the female "MISS BUSY" got in the kennel "BOKELS INU ZATTO" after "SAKURAS ARAMUSHA" her first litter with 9 puppies.
