IN and AROUND Germany 2000 - 2002
2000:
In 1999 we had some bad accidents
with so-called Fightingdogs in Germany. Our politicans made new laws and
now -in most of the German Bundesländer- it is very hard to keep a
so-called Fightingdog. In some Bundesländern it is forbidden to keep
a Tosa. In some others the dog have to wear a muzzle and you must go to
a caractertest with your dog and so on......
After all this bad things
happened, the leader of the Tosa Inu AG (this is a part of the
Club of Molosser in the VDH) decided to organize a caractertest for
the Tosas.
The idea: One test for the
whole Tosa-population in Germany to demonstrate their good caracter. The
test was fixed to 20.08.2000 in the Citypark of Cologne. This test was
managed by Mr. Günter Bloch
(a very popular Dogtrainer who is often
in trade journals and TV. Also he made Wolfobservations in Canada for behavioural
researches) and Dr. Brach (a Vetenary who works close to the government
in Nordrheinwestfalen).
I cant explain the reasons,
but some of the Tosa owner had boycotted the test! Maybe they don`t really
know how good the caracters of their dogs are!?
Most of the Tosa-population
in Germany had been tested. All tested dogs are from the Kennel "BOKEL
INU ZATTO". Of course - nobody failed the test.
Mr. Bloch told us that the
tested Tosa have very stabil caracter, free of aggression and very good
trained. Not often he had tested such good dogs! The Vet Dr. Brach also
tested the Tosa. Of course they are all free of illness and in very good
condition.
Every owner become a certificate
with the testresult and a detailed description from this two experts. At
least it was a very successful test. But only for the tested dogs!
2001-2002:
Because of the "boycott-test"
and a lot of other stupid things there was a great dispute in the Tosa
Inu AG.
The new law in Nordrheinwestfalen
(both breeder live in this Bundesland) prohibit to breed Tosa.
In 1999 an Import Society
gave money to import a Tosa Bitch (to remember read "Breed 1996").
In 1999 this Bitch (Tensai)
had a litter, but not by the rules of the VDH/Club of Molosser. Although
she has -and the owner know this- very bad hips. Part of the contract of
the Import Society is -that if there was a litter- the sponsors have
the decision between a puppy or take their money back.
No sponsor ever had a chance
for a decision! The puppies had been sold to other people. The owner of
Tensai said that the contract is switched to the "replacement-bitch" "DOGSTARS
YASASCHII". She was given by the breeder as a compensation. Because of
the bad hips of Dogstars Tensai and the rules of our Club Tensai hasn`t
become a breeding permission.
So the sponsors wait for a
Yasaschii-litter. They wait.................(from 1999 until now!!!).......and
hope the owner of Tensai and Yasaschii won`t forget............
2002:
23 members of the Tosa Inu
AG quitted their membership because of the stupid disputes in this Club.
I was requested to remove
the sign of the Club of Molosser from this site. I did.
Hard to say why the litter
of TENSAI became a breeding permission!!! I cant explain!! TENSAI doesn`t
have a breeding permission because she has no VDH/FCI pedigree and her
hips are very bad. Both are very important reasons not to give a breeding
permission for a dog.
So why the puppies from such
a mother became a breeding permission to VDH/Club of Molosser???
This is totaly against the
rules of the VDH and I don`t know why they do such silly things!?
The most important reason
to breed dogs is to improve the breed. Is it possible to improve
the Tosa breed in Germany if they give a breeding permission to these dogs....???

AG urge me to delete some things of this Homepage. So I had to search for
the news of VDH and the Club of Molosser to update my HP.
If they hadn`t urge me I never
had taken notice of this incredible things that happened. Many thanks to
them for let me know this and secure my opinion.
